Aspid Italdesign 1988

This was the first contact I had in life with concept art, when I still did not even know that concept was a profession.
I was only seven years old and saw the picture of Aspid at a glance in a Playboy magazine of my father. Then I catched the magazine and sneak out only to review the car's picture.
This year, after encountering the Robot Jox movie trailer on the internet, I decided to look for the covers of Playboy magazines of that time, in an attempt to find the car, whose name I did not remember, I had only a vague memory of the car in my mind, in order to review the references of my childhood.
When I found the photos of Aspid, I had just modeled a version of Jaspion and this car seemed like a conceptual art made for the new Jaspion. So, I decided to model Aspid.
